Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized educational institution. Additionally, the candidate must have studied Punjabi language as one of the subjects at the Matriculation level.

Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of ₹18,000/- per month plus applicable DA, HRA, and other allowances according to the Punjab Government's 7th Pay Commission matrix.
Exam Pattern (Written Examination)
Selection is based entirely on a Written Examination (OMR-based, Objective Type). There is no interview. The exam consists of 150 MCQs divided into two parts:

- Punjabi Language: Grammar, vocabulary, idioms & proverbs (ਮੁਹਾਵਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਖਾਣ), synonyms/antonyms, word formation (prefixes/suffixes), correction of sentences, Punjabi forms of English words.
- Punjab History & Culture: History of Sikh Gurus, physical features of Punjab, Bhakti Movement, Sufism, Adi Granth, Sikh Rulers, Freedom Struggle of Punjab, ancient and modern history of the state.
Part B — Merit Subjects
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: National & International events, Polity, Environment, Science & Technology, Economic issues, History of India (Freedom Struggle), Sports, Cinema & Literature, Geography.
- Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability: Analogies, coding-decoding, blood relations, directions, non-verbal series, pattern recognition, number series.
- Numerical Ability: Number systems, percentages, ratios, averages, profit & loss, time & work, simple & compound interest, fundamental arithmetical operations.
- English Language: Grammar (Subject-Verb Agreement, Adjectives, Adverbs), Synonyms, Antonyms, One-Word Substitution, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, Spell Checks, Articles, Prepositions, Direct/Indirect Speech, Active/Passive Voice.
